Pages of My Memory

Just like the wind that carried
a whisper that wasn't heard
Or the innocent smile
that could not hide the fear
Just like a heart full of love
consoles the eyes filled with tears
I see my reflection that ain't very clear

Alone amidst these mountains
The sun shinning in my eyes
Feel like your arms around me
And the warmth of your smile
Just shout out into the valleys
Those echoes do not lie
Is it you or am I dreaming
I don't care it just feels right

 

And so these pages of my memory
begin to fly away
They have spread themselves all over
But they wont fade away
And oh these pages of my memory
I keep writing here again
Of all the good times that went by
Yes they wont fade away...

The rhythm of my breathing
seems to sing the song you sang
The notes just filled the sky that night
humming tunes to stars so bright
Is this something called silence
Cos that's the only sound I hear
Just stop the wind from blowing
Need to hold on to all the love here


And so these pages of my memory
begin to fly away
